We have the only non-resident (outside the province of Alberta) and non-resident alien (outside of Canada) Bighorn Sheep permits in the Burnt Timber (414)/Panther Valley (416) (2 per year), which borders the Banff National Park. A check of the Boone & Crocket Record book shows the quality of sheep that have come from these areas in the past. The non-resident season is from September 1 to mid October.
In October/November we take a limited number of mule deer hunters from our camp on the Panther River(416). At this time the deer are in the rut giving us a better opportunity for large trophies. This has been very successful in the past.
In our camp you will find comfortable tents (enabling us to accommodate older hunters) with wood stoves, cots and home cooked meals. This is a no motorized vehicle area and we access it by horse or team and wagon. We hunt approximately 6000 to 9000 ft elevation mainly on horseback.
All hunts include:
